As a UI-UX Designer in Mantis, you will be responsible for collecting, researching, investigating and evaluating user requirements but also delivering an outstanding user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive application design.
You will be designing ideas using various methods and latest technology and delivering the best online user experience, which makes your role extremely important for our success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
The UI/UX designer reports to the development team manager (product owner).
Responsibilities
We are seeking people that love to create and are passionate with creating new stuff.
As our UI/UX designer you will have the following responsibilities:
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product owners and engineers.
- Developing and conceptualizing a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
- Follow a user-centric design approach and evaluate your designs based on the test and iteration model.
- Producing high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow. diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
- Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
- Collaborating with the marketing team, and internal and external designers to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
- Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Advanced understanding of delivery methodologies with an emphasis on agile
- Ability to work as a team player and thrive in a collaborative environment.
UI/UX Designer Requirements and Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in a relevant field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to discuss and explain design options.
- Critical thinker.
- Problem solver and customer-centered.
- Understanding of interaction design principles.
- Working knowledge of standard design applications (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Sketch, InVision, Figma); experience with video editing, motion graphics, and prototyping software is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience with HTML/CSS (JS is a nice to have knowledge).
- Some experience in WordPress framework.
- Ability to work as a team player and thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent Time Management Skills.
Nice to Have
- Graphic design skills
- Strong visual aesthetic and design skills, with a high respect for layout and typography.
- Work experience in graphic design, accompanied by attention to detail needed to solve a wide range of communications challenges and a big picture grasp of the potential of graphic design.
